Step into the fire of Hellfest Open Air Festival, one of the world’s most powerful celebrations of rock and metal. Every June, the quiet town of Clisson, France, transforms into a heavy-metal paradise filled with roaring guitars, pounding drums and the pure spirit of rebellion.

Born in 2006 from the ashes of Furyfest, Hellfest has grown into the biggest extreme music festival in France and one of the most renowned in the world. Each year, more than 240,000 fans gather over four intense days to share a unique experience in the spiritual heart of heavy music.

The Tales from the Pit

The 2026 edition runs from 18 to 21 June, bringing together Hellbangers from across the globe. The theme “Tales from the Pit” celebrates passion, unity, and raw emotion. Across six themed stages, over 180 artists will unleash explosive performances – from global legends to underground heroes. From metal and punk to doom, death, and black metal, every corner of the lineup delivers pure power.

A World Beyond Music: The Hellfest Universe

But Hellfest is far more than just music. It is a world of its own, designed as a fully immersive universe. Monumental sets tower over the crowd. Metal sculptures burn with life.
