FLY Open Air Glasgow brings the same legendary energy and cutting-edge electronic music that made Edinburgh’s events iconic. Over time, FLY Open Air has grown into one of Scotland’s most distinctive electronic music festivals. Its roots go back to 2013, when the FLY club nights became an instant hit in Edinburgh. Soon after, the success of those nights inspired the first festival in 2016. It later found its iconic home at the historic Hopetoun House.

Today, FLY Open Air blends world-class DJs, historic scenery, and strong support for rising Scottish artists. Artists like Denis Sulta, Theo Kottis, and Jasper James remain central to the festival’s identity. As a result, it has become a key force within Scotland’s club culture. Looking ahead to 2026, FLY Open Air will host two editions across Scotland. These include the flagship FLY Open Air Edinburgh and a brand-new edition in Glasgow.
