Dekmantel Festival is one of Amsterdam’s most forward-thinking electronic music events. Every summer, it gathers adventurous music lovers in the heart of Amsterdamse Bos. Known for championing innovation and creative risk-taking, the festival offers a space where artists feel free to experiment. As a result, Dekmantel has become a global reference point for cutting-edge sound and underground culture.

Once inside the forest, the atmosphere feels magical. The Main Stage sits between tall trees, The Greenhouse wraps you in lush visuals for experimental sets, the UFO Stage delivers harder sounds, the Selectors Stage highlights top-tier DJ craft, and the Boiler Room brings intimate, globally streamed performances.

Yet Dekmantel is more than a collection of stages. It is a community built on curiosity, openness, and musical exploration. From morning until night, every corner invites you to discover something new.

Dekmantel at Dawn – A New Chapter

In 2026, the festival expands with Dekmantel at Dawn, a new morning program for weekend visitors. This 36-hour journey adds three extra hours of music each day as the Selectors and Greenhouse stages transform into a sunrise playground.

Expect rare collaborations, live improvisations, deeply immersive performances, and community moments such as workshops and talks. Co-presented with Resident Advisor, At Dawn creates a seamless flow between night, morning, and the campsite.

Dekmantel by Day & Citywide Opening Events

The main festival unfolds over three days in the forest, offering a refined mix of live shows and boundary-pushing DJ sets. Before that, Dekmantel hosts two days (July 29 & 30) of opening events across Amsterdam. These citywide concerts and club nights bring together special performances and collaborations in iconic venues – a perfect warm-up to the weekend ahead.
