About Summerfest

Summerfest is a music festival held annually in downtown Milwaukee. Summerfest is located at Henry Maier Festival Park, right next to Lake Michigan and Milwaukee’s central business district. Prepare to experience the great performances from local to nationally known artists. The genres are various and with more than 800 artists performing, there is something for everyone. The festival is active from noon to midnight.

Summerfest first gained its popularity one year prior to Woodstock in 1968. Today it is presented by American Family insurance. The festival is all about shows that you will remember for ages and you really can not miss this. In addition, there will be many stages and also beautiful spaces on the lake. They will also have sponsored giveaways and you’ll be able to go shopping and even your children will have an area for them to have fun.

Summerfest also offers unique experiences for those looking for something to do before the headliners start hitting the stage. Furthermore, you will be able to check out what’s on the water from the shore, relax and enjoy the sounds of the party. If you’ll want you’ll even get some wine with cheese at the Summerfest Corkscrew and create memories with picture-perfect backgrounds, or visit the daily sports activities at the Gruber Law Office Sportzone.
