About the Festival

Snowbombing Festival is not just a music festival – it’s an epic alpine adventure. It combines world-class performances with unforgettable experiences in the breathtaking setting of the Austrian Alps. Held annually in Mayrhofen, Austria, this unique festival offers an extraordinary blend of live music, snow sports, and incredible venues. It’s a must-visit for music and adventure lovers alike.

At Snowbombing, the party never stops. The festival is divided into two types of venues: mountain venues and in-town venues. Therefore ensuring non-stop entertainment from midday until the early hours.

The mountain venues, open from 12pm-4pm, feature iconic spots like The Snowpark Terrace, The Mountain Stage, and Rompa’s Reggae Shack. Here, you can rave in the snow, participate in fun games and competitions, or even find tranquility with terrace yoga sessions – all set against the stunning backdrop of snow-covered peaks.

As the sun sets, the action moves down to the in-town venues in the heart of Mayrhofen. From 5pm onwards, dive into the vibrant nightlife at The Fun Haus, lose yourself in the pulsating beats at The Racket Club, or keep the party going until dawn at The Brück’n Stadl. These venues create an electric atmosphere, blending the excitement of a music festival with the charm of a ski town.

Beyond the music, Snowbombing is a winter sports paradise. With the Penken mountain as its centerpiece, featuring state-of-the-art cable cars and over 2,500 meters of pistes, Snowbombing offers an ideal setting for both seasoned skiers and snowboarders, as well as beginners looking to learn.
