Step into the magic of Forbidden Forest Festival, one of the UK’s most unique electronic music experiences. Founded in 2016, the festival blends music, nature and dance into a powerful escape from everyday life. Set in the breathtaking grounds of Belvoir Castle, this woodland celebration unfolds across hundreds of acres of lush forest and rolling hills.

Each year, more than 30,000 members of the “Forbidden Family” come together to enjoy an unforgettable weekend. The lineup features over 50 top artists from house, tech house, techno and also drum & bass, creating a high-energy soundtrack for a forest rave like no other. From rising talent to established names, the music flows through the trees and transforms the woods into a world of pure connection.

But Forbidden Forest is more than a festival. It’s a feeling. It’s a place where strangers become friends, and where the forest becomes a refuge for freedom, unity and self-expression. Moreover, as you wander through the trees, you leave the outside world behind. At the same time you step into a realm filled with laughter, rhythm and shared moments.

Belvoir Castle, meaning “beautiful view,” adds another layer of magic. Its historic surroundings, dating back to 1067, create a dramatic setting for a truly immersive celebration.
