Sputnik Spring Break was launched in 2008 by the German youth radio station MDR Sputnik, evolving from their earlier event, Sputnik Turntable Days. The idea was to create a vibrant, open-air festival that captures the energy of traditional spring break celebrations.

The number of visitors looking to unwind and have fun is increasing every year. In 2012, Sputnik Spring Break welcomed approximately 17,000 attendees, and by 2017, that number had already risen to around 25,000. This year, you can expect an even bigger crowd of wild spirits ready to take the experience to the next level!
