Together, they offer a deep dive into some of the finest house, techno, and underground electronic music. Since its first edition in 2016, SXM has built a reputation around something difficult to recreate anywhere else: an entire island becoming part of the festival. Throughout SXM, Saint Martin becomes your playground. Events unfold across beachfront stages, intimate villas, clubs, scenic hilltops, and unexpected locations on both the French and Dutch sides of the island. Late-night events, sunset sessions, and intimate satellite experiences add a sense of discovery and adventure that defines the SXM experience.

Ten Years of Culture, Community and Island Magic

Beyond the music, SXM Festival is the perfect gateway to discover the beauty and culture of Saint Martin. The island combines French and Dutch influences and is home to 37 breathtaking beaches. It offers endless opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, dining, nightlife, and outdoor exploration.

Recent editions have welcomed visitors from more than 58 countries. Over five days, strangers meet on beaches and dancefloors and quickly become friends. By the end of the week, SXM feels less like a festival and more like a close-knit international community.

SXM Festival Founder Julian Prince says “From the beginning, I never wanted SXM to be the biggest festival. I wanted people to go home with stories they would still be telling years later. You come for the music, but then the island takes over. You discover places you didn’t know existed, meet people you never expected to meet, and suddenly you’re watching the sun come up with friends you made two days ago. Ten editions later, that feeling is still there. Protecting it is what matters most to me.”

The 10th anniversary edition celebrates the artists, island partners, local teams, venues, and festivalgoers who have shaped SXM throughout its history. It also opens an exciting new chapter, with further artists, parties, and special anniversary experiences still to be revealed.
