🎶 About the Festival

Thunderdome is a legendary hardcore phenomenon, a name that has defined an entire culture through its iconic parties and groundbreaking CD albums. The story began in 1992, marking the birth of a movement that would change dance music forever.

Although its end was announced in December 2012, Thunderdome rose again in 2017 to celebrate its 25th anniversary. Two years later, the 2019 edition shattered all expectations, becoming Europe’s biggest indoor dance event with over 50,000 visitors.

Now, on December 13, 2025, Thunderdome returns to Jaarbeurs Utrecht, the birthplace of chaos and unity. This is where the spirit of the ’90s legends comes alive once more, reborn for a new generation.
One night. All styles. Pure, unfiltered, and undefinable hardcore. Together, we move as one.

Thunderdome stands as an unbreakable fortress of hardcore, stronger than ever. When people think of hardcore, they think of Thunderdome. It burns in the hearts of many, it is on the skin of thousands, and lastly, it’s the diehard community behind the music that will keep it alive forever. Hardcore will never die!
