🎶 About the Festival

Thunderdome is more than an event. It is a hardcore institution that has shaped an entire culture since 1992. Through iconic raves, compilation albums and the unmistakable Wizard, its influence has travelled far beyond the dance floor.

On December 11th and 12th, this legendary movement opens a new chapter inside Antwerp’s AFAS Dome. Across two nights, Thunderdome explores the opposing forces that have always driven hardcore: ORDER and CHAOS. Each night brings its own identity, atmosphere and relentless programme.

Friday belongs to ORDER. Precision, structure and uncompromising rhythms take control as the first night locks the dome into motion. Then, on Saturday, CHAOS breaks through. Expect unpredictable energy, harder turns and a night built to push intensity towards its limits.

Throughout both nights, hardcore legends and new-generation forces represent the movement in its many uncompromising forms. Meanwhile, thunderous sound, dark visuals and monumental production transform the arena into a fortress of hardcore. Every beat feels physical, while every drop pulls the crowd deeper into the experience.

Above all, Thunderdome belongs to its community. Gabbers from different generations gather beneath one symbol, united by music, identity and loyalty. Therefore, the atmosphere reaches far beyond a typical dance event. It becomes a shared ritual shaped by movement, memory and rebellion.

Whether experiencing Thunderdome for the first time or returning as a diehard, both nights offer something unforgettable. ORDER builds the pressure. CHAOS tears down the boundaries. Together, they form one explosive chapter in a legacy that refuses to fade.

Hardcore will never die!
