🎶 Creamfields 2026: Celebrating 20 Years at Daresbury

Rockstar Energy presents Creamfields is one of the world’s biggest electronic dance music festivals, but it all started small. In 1992, it began as weekly house nights at the now-demolished Nation in Liverpool. Back then, it was simply called “Cream”.

In 1998 – the same year Google launched – Cream officially became a festival. The first lineup featured icons like Paul van Dyk, Daft Punk, Sasha, and Tony De Vit.

Since then, hundreds of rising stars and global legends have played its stages. Many couples got engaged, and countless more have fallen in love at the festival. Creamfields has expanded internationally, with editions like Creamfields Chile bringing the experience worldwide.

In 2016, the UK edition grew to four full days. Headliners included Armin van Buuren, Calvin Harris, Avicii, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. That year also marked the launch of the Steel Yard, a giant megastructure pulsing with sound and energy.

In 2024, Creamfields invested £2 million to upgrade the event. The indoor stage was expanded to handle any weather. They also introduced a new Food and Drink Village, better accommodation options, and major infrastructure upgrades for the best fan experience yet.

In 2026, Creamfields will mark a monumental milestone, 20 years at Daresbury, its iconic home in Cheshire, England. What began as a bold move from Liverpool to the fields of Daresbury in 2006 has since evolved into a legendary pilgrimage for electronic music fans from around the globe.

Creamfields keeps evolving, but the love, music, and magic stay the same.
