For the past year, we’ve been living in an alternate reality – a parallel plane of existence daring us triumph over uncertainty. But here we are, still breathing, the world still turning. And it’s time to celebrate. On March 25-26, BUKU: Planet B will descend upon downtown New Orleans in the electric shadows of the Market Street Power Plant, to celebrate the resilient subculture of New Orleans and the triumphant return of live music.
BUKU: Planet B seeks to embrace the chaos of the world we’ve been living in and flip it on its head to create the world we want to live in. This is our time. With brave creativity we strive forward, we unite, breaking free from whatever has been holding us back.
Compiling a deep and varied lineup for the unique festivities, BUKU: Planet B features everything from chart-topping hip hop and EDM to eclectic dance music, underground rap, and even some pop punk. Not content with just being a great musical experience, the festival also curates a lineup of art installations, graffiti showcases, street artist performances, a marching band procession, and more.
